Google is reportedly planning to give its Camera app a major UI update for the upcoming Pixel 8 series. The new UI will feature a more modern design with a focus on simplicity and ease of use.

One of the most notable changes is the separation of photo and video modes. There will now be a dedicated toggle at the bottom of the app that allows users to quickly switch between the two modes. This will make it easier to take photos or record videos without having to fumble through the menus.

The new UI also includes a redesigned settings menu that is easier to navigate. The menu has been reorganized to make it easier to find the settings you need. Additionally, Google is adding new features to the settings menu, such as the ability to adjust the white balance and exposure.
